With a focus on providing leadership advisory services, Michael brings nearly two decades of broad executive assessment and selection experience. He has advised, and led global engagements for directors, CEOs, Presidents, COOs and other corporate officer roles across marketing, technology, digital, human resources and finance. He has also led numerous projects in areas of diversity recruitment, succession planning and executive on-boarding.

Michael brings international experience, and knowledge of both developed and emerging markets through his extensive work across The Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions. His primary market focus is global hospitality, media, entertainment and sport, as well as advising international corporations, private equity / venture capital firms, and higher education and non-profit entities.

Before merging his firm with ON, Michael was Managing Partner of Wurster Partners Ltd., a global boutique leadership advisory business he founded in 2010. Previously, he served as a senior member of the Board / CEO, Consumer, Financial Services and Diversity practices for two other leading executive search firms, Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart. Michael started his professional career as a Director of Juvenile Programs for the State of Indiana.

Michael earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University – Bloomington. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the CMO Club, as well as the American Film Institute. Michael is also active in several non-profit organizations, including UNICEF, ChildFund International and the Jewish Council for Youth Services of Chicago. He and his wife, Laurie, reside in Highland Park, Illinois with their three children.
