Shawn Oglesbee: Managing Partner

Shawn Oglesbee is the Managing Partner of ON Search Partners. He personally leads searches in the Technology and Cleantech industries. Shawn has conducted CEO, Board, and VP‐level searches for Broadcom, SolarBridge, Lighting Science Group, Daintree Networks, Maxlinear, Seeo, NeoPhotonics, and NRG Energy.

Prior to ON Search Partners, Shawn was the Managing Partner of the Semiconductor & Photonics practice at Christian & Timbers. During his nine years with the firm, he rose to become the youngest Partner, and then Managing Partner, in the 25-year history of the company. At Christian & Timbers, he was a member of several task forces that measured client experience and search success, and received numerous awards for outstanding contributions and commitment to client satisfaction. Shawn also spent several years with another retained executive search firm. Before managing executive searches, Shawn worked in sales management with a US $300 million marketing information supplier.   

Shawn holds a BA in History from Kent State University. He has authored numerous reports on emerging energy, semiconductor, and photonic trends, and has been cited in a wide variety of trade and business publications, including EE Times, Electronic Business, and Distributed Energy.

Shawn is a native of Pennsylvania, and lives in Chagrin Falls with his wife and children.
